How Körber expanded services to meet the evolving needs of customers amidst declining traditional mail volumes and increasing e-commerce by updating the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology and integrating a central video coding system.
In collaboration with PostNord, Körber implemented a highly efficient VarioPick robotic solution for dynamic picking. The system features an advanced AI-driven vision system for precise item identification that allows for process automation, increases efficiency, and improves worker safety.
Körber modernized and updated PostNord Denmark's mail sorting equipment within a year, moving machines from Fredericia to Taastrup, replacing control hardware and software, and upgrading the reading/coding
